A Skywest Charter Canadair CRJ-200, registration N877AS performing charter flight SCW-4914 from Lafayette,LA to Troy,AL (USA), was on final approach to Troy's runway 25 when a loud noise was heard prior to touch down. The aircraft landed without further incident and taxied to the apron.
The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A LOUD NOISE PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN AND POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED TWIGS IN THE LANDING GEAR, TROY, AL." and reported the aircraft sustained "UNKNOWN" damage.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Troy 10 days after landing.
